Hi there, nice talk!
I am not a Java developer by far, I just know the syntax and I can make a few simple things with it, but I have been following one of their podcasts for some years: The Java Posse. Incidentally, I listened to this second part of “It’s the booze talking” tonight, and right afterwards I listened to their latest “Techniques for solving tough problems” podcast, and both episodes mention the same duck/elephpant/bear/whatever technique. By the way, this Java Podcast is an example that the Java community may not be as closed as you made them sound
Anyway, thanks for all the pointers, reminders and insights as always!
Best regards,
